E-mails
Today we got our first E-mails from our key-pals who live in Canada.
Some of us got two key-pals because they have more pupils in their classes. We call them key-pals because we write by e-mail instead of posting them. The letters were very interesting.
In Canada our key-pals have lots of friends. They live in Vancouver Island.
Vancouver Island is bigger then Ireland. Their population is 80,000 people.
They have a different type of culture than us. The subjects they do over there are English, French, drama and Physical Education. Some people have very big families and some parents had died or separated. The weather is hot in the Summer and very cold in the Winter.
They have lots of hobbies such as ice-skating, dancing, singing, hockey, gymnastics, Canadian football and American football, video games, dirt biking, chess, archery, hanging out with their friends and hunting. They also thought that there were leprechauns in Ireland. We replied to their letters but haven’t got a reply yet!
