THE BUS

On the 4th of April 2008, our school went to Sligo to see a play called The Bus, in the Hawks well Theatre. We had great fun on the bus on the way. When we got there we all lined up to get into the play. We were the first school there.

When we got seated the play started. Some of the characters came out and started talking. The characters names were Billy, Lily, Carl, Sally, Alice, Triona, Bull-dog, Miss, Jimmy, Tommy, Stephan, Hector and Peter. Tommy had a pet hamster called Homer. The play was a comedy. The cast were dressed up in grey uniforms. There was music and sounds during the play. Stephan the main character was acting in Fair City. Some of the characters played two parts. We found the play very interesting. It was an hour and ten minutes long.

There were other schools there as well. In the play there were songs from High School Musical. We enjoyed that very much. Some of them kept singing Tommy in the back Seat. It was a really enjoyable day in Sligo. We got back to the school at 3.00pm. It was a memorable day for everyone and we hope to go again soon.
