WHAT IF
What if I met a dog,
That croaked like a frog,
What if I met a mat,
That purred like a cat,
What if I met a fox,
That had chicken pox,
What if I met a cow,
That took a bow,
What if I met a bat,
That squealed like a rat,
What if I met a mouse,
That lived in a house,
What if I met a snake,
That made a mistake,
What if I met a whale,
That its colour was pale,
What if I met a bull,
That was full of wool,
What if I met a bee,
That liked tea,
What if I met a squirrel,
That had a pearl,

Whatif
Whatif today was Sunday
I wouldn’t be at school
Whatif it was snowing
The weather would be cool
Whatif hither was thither
I’d be all in a dither
So from Whatif’s to Ifwhat’s
Or Whyfor’s or whynot’s
I’m lucky I’m in school today
To learn all my What-If’s

Whatif
In school today I was daydreaming
About whatif the school fell down
Whatif I was afraid of a clown
Whatif I broke my leg
Whatif I fell ontop of an egg
Whatif the school went up on fire
Whatif my Sister became a liar
Whatif I got a very big blister
Whatif I never saw my Sister
